Elements and Principles of Design

 Summary:

For this project, we had to go on a scavenger hunt and take a photo of the 12 elements and principles of design that we see in our everyday lives. I chose the top 5 photos that I took on my scavenger hunt of the elements and principles of design. After the scavenger hunt, I took all the photos and placed them in a PowerPoint. In the PowerPoint, I labeled each photo with what element and principle of design it is and what the definition of the element and principle of design is.

Extension Activity:

An extension activity I can do for the elements and principles of design is having students draw an image that includes all 12 elements and principles of design. When the students are done with their image they will have to identify the different elements and principles of design they used to write it on the back of their project. This will help students learn more about the 12 elements and principles of design.
